The EHS nurse coordinates and implements health care system-wide programs for the prevention and control of workplace associated illnesses and injuries for health system employees. Salary Commensurate with Experience: $35.01-$50.00 ***Free On-site Parking***

Job Description

Essential Functions

1. Case Management, surveillance and reporting on workplace injuries and illnesses, including reporting to government agencies, contact tracing, vaccine administration, pre-placement assessments and collaborating with frontline staff and leaders to enhance protections for staff and patients.

2. Ability to triage care via SICKline.

3. Liaison to Infection Prevention, TPA and managers as needed to carry out the preceding duties

4. Technology and Learning

   a - Participates in continued learning and possess a willingness and ability to learn and utilize new technology and procedures that continue to develop in their role and throughout the organization.

   b - Embraces technological advances that allow us to communicate information effectively and efficiently based on role.

Required additional Knowledge, and Abilities

Thorough understanding of healthcare and is data driven and colleague focused.

Vaccination and TB screening experience required.

EXCEL experience (preferred).

Epic experience (preferred)

Minimum Education - Preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Minimum Work Experience

Previous Acute/Ambulatory Care RN experience preferred
