Position Description

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Hadley, MA 01305

Job Type: Contract (7 Weeks) – Extension Possible

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour

Pay Cycle: Weekly

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Hadley, MA. This is a 7-week contract position with the potential for extension, offering consistent daytime shifts and weekly pay. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the nursing care plan
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Accurately document patient conditions and care provided
  • Monitor and report changes in patient health status
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care
  • Assist patients and families by providing health education and emotional support

Requirements:

  • Active LPN license in Massachusetts or Compact State (Required)
  • Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
